Cape Cod Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialists
is staffed by physicians who are Board
Certified in the field of Otolaryngology. Nurse Practitioners
with special ENT training are also available
for your care. Physician training includes
one year of surgical internship followed by
4-5 years of specialty training.
We specialize in the surgical treatment of
ear, nose/sinuses, throat/larynx, and neck
diseases. We also have special expertise in
thyroid/parathyroid surgery and
reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. A
special area of interest in our practice is
the treatment of allergy.
This includes
complete diagnostic services (skin and blood
allergy testing), and allergy immunotherapy
(shots). A certified audiologist and
audiometric technologists perform testing of
hearing, balance and inner ear function in
our Department of Audiology.
As specialists we
care primarily for patients referred
for ENT problems by primary care
physicians. We also care for ENT
related emergencies. Many patients
come directly to us for ENT
care, but if you are a member of a
"managed care" plan a referral is
often required first. Your plan
should inform you of its
requirements.Your ENT care will
be carefully coordinated with your
primary care physician. All
outpatient testing and hospital care
will be communicated to your
physician. Once we have stabilized
your ENT problem, less frequent
follow-up care will likely be
indicated. You are encouraged and
welcomed to call with questions and
to arrange follow-up appointments as
needed.
We hope that your medical care
here will be to your satisfaction
and will be smoothly and
professionally delivered. If you
have any complaints, questions or
suggestions on how we might improve
our care, we would appreciate
hearing them. |
